Summer Project!
Finally started my summer project for my art class, I was challenged to focus on drawing with different art mediums, and be inspired by Leonardo Davinci, and MC Escher, here is what i have come up with so far!
A charcoal drawing, inspired by Leonardo's human anatomy drawings and MC Escher's techniques with monochrome color schemes!
Started By drawing a light outline of the basic shapes gradually fixed the proportions, added shadows then overlayed different charcoals of various hardnesses, and blended then lifted out highlights with my kneaded eraser.
Evaluating my work: Turned out better than i expected it was fun doing hands because all the lines and movement in them, the value turned out well but something just is off with the way that the fingers are, also i would plan out the background differently if i were to do this piece again.
